Aspen Senior Day Center is a one of a kind licensed adult day care facility in Provo, Utah which offers a safe option for families who may need to work during the day or need respite time for seniors who are active and have some memory impairment.

Aspen Senior Day Center opened its doors in 2010. Gary Staples, the Owner and Administrator, wanted to provide a friendly and safe environment for seniors with memory loss who also want to stay in their homes for as long as possible.

“All seniors do better when they can get out of the house and enjoy activities that help them feel normal again, such as socializing and making friends, eating good food, singing, arts and crafts, etc,” says Gary, “especially seniors with dementia.”

The Day Center offers a unique program called Cognasium, or “gymnasium for the brain”.

This program focuses on mental stimulation, light exercise, fun socialization, and good nutrition. The Center’s fun activities and good food is a wonderful option for seniors with memory loss who need an enjoyable and safe place to spend their day.

How can Aspen Senior Day Center benefit caregivers?

Aspen Senior Day Center is also a great resource for family caregivers. We hold a monthly caregiver support group and help connect families with other resources in the community that might be helpful.

How do you know if Aspen Senior Day Center would be a good match for your loved one? They are:

  • Feeling socially isolated, lonely, or depressed
  • Experiencing mild to moderate memory loss
  • Becoming more physically frail

How might Aspen Senior Day Center help you?

  • We could help you juggle work and caregiving
  • Lessen the stress that can accompany caregiving
  • Offer help and support you as you keep your loved one at home longer

With years of experience assisting seniors in our community, our staff will provide your loved one with quality care and an enjoyable daily experience.  You can trust our staff to take good care of your loved one. In fact, we only select those whom we would trust with our own family members.  We make sure they have been properly screened, trained, and qualified to assist seniors with all aspects of care and activities.

“Great place for seniors! Lots of activities! The family will have a peace of mind knowing that the loved ones are staying active. The wonderful ladies that work at the center really care about the clients. They have immense compassion for all of them and prepared all activities with immense love. The seniors won’t have to feel alone, they experience companionship and socialization.”
